Why Rosewater Notes?

I made this little corner of the internet because I like learning things that don't necessarily belong together. One day it is a historical question; the next it is a poem, a political idea, a movie, a scientific rabbit hole, or an extremely specific opinion about iced coffee.

Rosewater Notes is part personal notebook, part mini magazine, and part excuse to keep asking questions. The essays are for the ideas that deserve more than a few sentences. The little things are for everything else.

Eventually, I want this shelf to hold actual research, essays, reading notes, and conversations with interesting people. For now, it is allowed to be a work in progress.
